Core Third-Party Framework Details:

Firebase Authentication & Google Sign-In: When you authenticate using your Google account, Google Credential Manager securely signs you in and passes a unique ID token to Firebase Auth. This is used exclusively to keep your account safe, verify your identity, and sync your favorite names securely across your devices.
Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics: Collects diagnostic, usage, and performance telemetry data (e.g., app launches, button selections, or crash logs). This data is completely anonymized and utilized solely to optimize app stability and performance.
Google AdMob (and Android Advertising ID): The App displays advertisements through Google AdMob. AdMob uses the Google Play Services Advertising ID to serve personalized or non-personalized ads, track ad impressions, and analyze ad metrics. You can control or reset this Advertising ID directly within your Android device's System Settings.

🔑 Permissions & Hardware Usage

To provide specific interactive features, the App requests permissions to access certain system hardware. These are only accessed with your explicit consent:

How We Use These Permissions:

CAMERA Permission: The Camera hardware is accessed exclusively when you activate the in-app QR scanner. The camera permission is used solely for real-time QR code scanning to connect devices. The camera stream is parsed in real-time, completely on-device, to decode QR codes for matching names with your spouse or family.
Note: We never record, capture, store, or upload video frames or image streams from your camera to any remote server. No photo or video frames are recorded or transmitted off the device.
INTERNET Permission: Required to perform secure Google/Firebase login, sync user profiles, and retrieve updated baby names.
VIBRATE Permission: Used to provide tactile haptic feedback when you scan a QR code successfully or interact with core action triggers, enhancing usability.

🔍 Information Collection and Use

We collect certain personal and non-personal data to make the name matching process seamless and stable:

1. Personal Data You Provide:

Account Information: If you sign in via Google, we receive your email address, display name, and profile photo URL. This data is stored securely in Firebase to establish your profile and facilitate the spouse matching invitation link.
Partner Matches: Selected favorite names and spouse linkages are stored in our secure database to compute name matches.

2. Device & Technical Information:

Advertising ID: Your Android Advertising ID is parsed by Google AdMob to serve relevant ads.
Diagnostics: Anonymized crash logs and device properties (such as OS version and device model) are processed by Firebase Crashlytics during a crash to help us issue fixes.

⚠️ Account & Data Deletion Request

In compliance with Google Play's user data policies, we provide a complete, direct, and straightforward path for you to request the deletion of your account and all associated personal data at any time.

When you initiate an account deletion request, all of your synchronized data is permanently deleted from our servers within 14 business days. This includes your profile credentials, linked partner associations, favorited/liked names, and custom preferences. This action is irreversible.

How to Request Account & Data Deletion:

1 In-App Deletion (Instant): Open the App, navigate to the Settings or Profile tab, tap Delete Account, and confirm your selection. This immediately purges your account from Firebase.
2 Email Request: If you have already uninstalled the App or cannot access your account, send an email from your registered address to orangeseedstudios.dev@gmail.com.
3 Required Details: In your email subject, write "Account Deletion Request - Muslim Baby Name Matcher". Please state your full name and registered sign-in email address in the body of the email.

Once we receive your email request, we will verify your identity, completely delete all records from our active databases, and send you a confirmation email once completed.

The security of your personal information is extremely important to us. We utilize industrial-grade security controls through Firebase and Google infrastructure (such as TLS encryption for all data in transit, and robust access controls for stored profiles).

However, please note that no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers.
